PlacesThroughTime.co.uk is an interpretive history project that lets you stand in real streets, squares and landmarks today and look around them as they may have appeared centuries ago — beginning with York, and built around AI-generated 360° views grounded in historical research.

Note: The images and videos currently on the site are quick tests generated with a free AI service. The actual content will be historically researched, have fluid motion without AI artifacts, and be produced from high-quality sources and generations.

The professional content is expected to start appearing from around June 2026.
